A PET Bottle Blow Moulding Machine is the foundational equipment required to manufacture high-quality plastic bottles from preforms. It uses heat and high-pressure compressed air to stretch and shape raw plastic preforms into finalized bottles. This specific series is highly versatile, engineered to produce standard water bottles ranging from 200 ml to 2000 ml (2 Litres), with specialized configurations available for larger up to 5 Litre (5L) bulk containers. It represents an ideal balance of energy efficiency, production speed, and precise control for small-to-medium water bottling plants. How the Blow Moulding Process Works: The machine transforms rigid plastic preforms into perfectly formed bottles using a two-stage process: Preform Heating: The operator or an automated feeder places the PET preforms into the infrared heating oven. As the preforms travel through the oven, they continually rotate. This 360-degree preform rotation ensures that the heat penetrates the plastic completely evenly, preventing weak spots or thin walls in the final bottle. Stretch & Blow Moulding: Once the preforms reach the optimal molding temperature, they are transferred to the blow mould clamping station. Pneumatic or hydraulic clamps lock the mould tight. A stretching rod pushes down into the preform to extend it vertically, while high-pressure air is injected to expand the plastic horizontally into the shape of the mould cavity. Ejection: The newly formed bottle is quickly cooled by the internal cooling channels of the mould, the mould opens, and the finished bottle is removed, ready for the rinsing-filling-capping line. Technical Specifications OverviewTo help plan your factory floor layout and utility requirements, here are the core engineering specifications for this series: Production Output: 2-Cavity Configuration: Generates 800 to 1,800 Bottles Per Hour (BPH) (ideal for standard, flexible operations) 4-Cavity Configuration: Scaled up to deliver 2,500 Bottles Per Hour (BPH) for higher volume demands. Bottle Volume Capacity: Standard models support 200 ml to 2000 ml (2L) sizes. Extended heavy-duty models accommodate large up to 5L bottles. Electrical Power: Consumes a highly efficient 14 to 16 KW. Voltage Compatibility: Supports heavy industrial standards with 220V / 380V 3-Phase wiring. Pneumatic (Air) Pressure Requirements: Operation Pressure: 0.8 to 1.0 Mpa (for driving internal mechanical motions and cylinders). Blowing Pressure: High-pressure 1.2 to 2.8 Mpa (dedicated to stretching and crisp bottle formation).
